Why are Coody tents premium?
Every detail has been developed with the highest precision – from the robust choice of materials and the sophisticated ventilation system to the exceptional
stability of the tent.
The result: an air tent that elevates comfort, durability, and design to a new level. For discerning campers who don't want to compromise!
Many tents look similar, but quality is revealed in the details!

At first glance, many tents may seem comparable, but what truly matters are the materials, the craftsmanship, and the care with which they are made. This is precisely where the difference lies. This is Coody!

For many people, a tent replaces home, especially when camping with family or friends! If materials or workmanship are skimped on, not only quality but also safety, and above all comfort, will suffer!

The Coody Air Tent is developed in Korea and manufactured in the company's own production facility in China. Unlike cheaper tents and standard factories, Coody exclusively uses high-quality materials, which are processed with great care and precision. Every seam, every detail is the result of expertise and years of experience.

These values and the technical know-how that Coody has built up over the years cannot simply be copied.
Based on this and thanks to the trust we receive from our customers worldwide, our goal remains unchanged: to develop tents that combine thoughtful design, high material quality, and uncompromising safety.
Point 1

Safety starts with the material!

The Coody 4-season tent is like a second home – developed with materials that have been precisely tested for their safety and harmlessness.
For carefree moments with family and friends,
in any weather, in any place.
Safe from radon – for a healthy indoor climate!
The Coody inflatable tent is made from tested, non-toxic materials and is proven to be radon-free. This creates a safe and healthy indoor climate, no matter where you camp.
Proven radon-safe!
The Coody Air Tent was tested with a professional radon meter
(“Radon Eye”).
With a value of only 0.22 pCi/L, it is well below the international safety guideline of 4 pCi/L – thus ensuring a healthy
and unpolluted indoor climate.
How safe is the material of Coody outdoor tents?

Coody Premium tents are made from high-quality materials that significantly exceed South Korean safety standards for children's and baby textiles.

Safe from harmful substances
– Formaldehyde-free
– The measured arylamine value is five times below the legal limit in South Korea, making it even safer than textiles for infants.

Safe from developmental toxicants
– The content of potentially harmful substances like NPEs is five times below the permissible guideline value in South Korea.
– Thus, according to South Korean regulations, it meets the strictest safety requirements for children's products.

Safe for sensitive skin
– Children's textiles in Korea must maintain a pH value between 4.0 and 7.5. With a pH value of 6.5, the Coody Air Tent is precisely in the skin-friendly ideal range.

Safe from allergenic dyes
– Manufactured without dyes that can cause allergic reactions.
– The measured value is 20 times below the permissible upper limit in South Korea, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
Point 2

Made from high-quality outdoor materials

① High-quality, mold-resistant cotton fabric (Class 0)

Since cotton fabric can be susceptible to mold growth depending on the environment, Coody exclusively uses premium cotton of the highest protective class.
This material prevents mold spores from spreading, even if they do occur – for long-lasting, hygienic, and safe use, even in changing weather conditions.
The fabric was tested in accordance with international standard ASTM D6329 by KOLAS (Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme) and certified as being mold-resistant to the highest class.
2. Premium cotton fabric for maximum durability
Compared to conventional tents, the Coody Air Tent has a weight per unit area that is 0.8 g higher for the same area – a clear indication of the higher material density and robustness.
This thickness is achieved through an elaborate coating process that further strengthens the cotton, thus significantly increasing the lifespan and durability of the tent.
③ Fire protection through flame-retardant PVC material
The material of the air chambers and the floor (rear) is made of flame-retardant PVC.
Even in contact with fire, the flame does not spread – thus significantly reducing the risk of fires while camping!
High-quality and safe tent construction
– tested according to international standards

The air chambers form the backbone of every air tent. Coody exclusively uses materials manufactured according to international ISO standards and tested for safety and stability by SGS. The result: maximum safety and durability, even under demanding outdoor conditions!

Safety test of tensile strength
Tested for extreme cold resistance down to -40 °C
Flame-retardant safety test passed!
TPU material that withstands temperatures
down to –30 °C
We use a particularly robust TPU material for the tent windows and doors (depending on the model) with a thickness of 0.4 T,
which remains stable even at temperatures down to –30 °C.
The material is extremely durable, highly resistant to discoloration and corrosion, and maintains its stability over a long period.
0.7T PVC – thicker and more robust
than other brands
The Coody camping tent uses an extra strong PVC material with a thickness of 0.7 T for the air poles. This makes it 0.2 T thicker than the 0.5 T material commonly used by other manufacturers – for more stability and durability!
High-strength premium seams – tear-resistant and durable
For the tent, particularly thick, tear-resistant yarns
with high elasticity are used.
These premium threads are exceptionally durable, do not tear even under heavy loads, and remain pleasantly soft – one of the highest quality materials in the camping industry.
Proprietary zipper
Coody tents feature specially designed zippers that have been developed for outdoor use.
They combine high durability
with smooth, easy operation!
Why are Coody tents so popular worldwide?
What makes it so special
compared to conventional outdoor tents?
Point 1

High-quality cotton blend for a particularly comfortable room climate

TC cotton material
(35% cotton, 65% polyester)
Are you familiar with the unpleasant condensation problem on tent walls, especially on cold days?
Have you ever experienced damp tent walls in the morning, with water droplets
running down the inside? This phenomenon is called condensation.

When condensation forms in the tent, not only does the indoor climate become unpleasant –
your equipment inside the tent also gets damp and clammy, and you simply don't feel comfortable!
Coody uses a high-quality cotton blend fabric in its tents, which reduces condensation many times over. For a pleasant and comfortable indoor climate!
The most important reason for Coody to rely on TC cotton fabric is quite simply: COMFORT!

TC fabric is significantly more breathable than conventional polyester –
this keeps the tent climate noticeably more pleasant, regardless of the season or weather.
That's why this fabric is so popular with many campers.

At the same time, TC fabric is lighter than pure cotton fabric and offers natural water repellency.
The material thus combines attractive design and functional advantages in one!
Point 2

Wide, open view – a feeling of freedom!

The large windows (120 × 90 cm) can be fully opened forwards and backwards,
creating an airy feel and excellent fresh air circulation.

In summer, all sides can be opened – for maximum ventilation and
a pleasantly cool tent climate.

In winter, the TPU windows provide additional insulation without sacrificing the open, bright atmosphere.

A tent that impresses all year round!
No matter when or where!
Item 3

Design that convinces!

High side walls = no bending = more comfort!

The interior has been generously widened, and the ceiling
has also been deliberately designed higher.
Thanks to the raised side walls, you no longer have to bend down, and at the same time, it creates a modern sense of space reminiscent of stays in premium lodges.

Coody manages to combine design and functionality, elevating camping to a whole new level!
A home to take anywhere!

The 2-meter air mattress fits perfectly
into the rear sleeping area!

The Coody air mattress can be ideally placed in the rear compartment. This allows you to easily create two separate living spaces with the help of the partition wall.
With two double mattresses, there is even enough space in the middle for an adult to walk through.
However, if you combine a double mattress with a 3-person air mattress, the rear compartment will be completely filled, creating a large family bed.
Example with two coody double air mattresses
Item 4

Security and Mouldarity tailored to your needs

Mesh windows open
With many outdoor tents, the mesh windows can only be opened to a limited extent or not at all.
The Coody Air Tent, on the other hand, was designed so that all four side mesh windows can be fully opened.
TC cotton windbreak
A windbreak made of TC cotton, which effectively blocks external wind and direct sunlight.
Thanks to its excellent insulation, it protects against strong temperature drops, providing additional warmth even on cold nights and in winter.
Removable TPU Windows
In cold winter weather, the TPU window provides excellent thermal insulation.
Because it is transparent, you can enjoy the view of the surroundings even on frosty days.

The three sides of the TPU window are equipped with zippers and designed with curved edges for easy opening and closing. The top side is attached with Velcro, making the window easy to attach and remove.

Since it is completely removable, it can be stored separately – and when you are not using it, you also reduce the overall weight of the tent.
Stability and safety
With conventional camping tents, the material thickness of the load-bearing air chambers is approximately Ø13.
However, with the Coody Air Tent, the material thickness is around Ø2 stronger
– a total of Ø15!

Instead of simple vinyl, a particularly robust material is used for the chambers, which is also used in the construction of high-quality boats.
With a thickness of 0.7 T, the air chambers are extremely stable and thus ideal for outdoor use.

For additional safety, the Coody air frame is made of flame-retardant PVC material.
Cable, air conditioning, or auxiliary heater feed-through
No more bothersome cables or complicated installations!
Thanks to the integrated multi-purpose openings, power cables, air conditioning hoses, or auxiliary heaters can be fed into the tent easily, cleanly, and securely, providing more comfort and, above all, order and overview while camping!
The Familia tent has two intake valves to make airflow particularly easy to regulate.

When inflating, it is sufficient to open only one valve.
When deflating, please open both valves simultaneously.

IMPORTANT PRODUCT INFORMATION
* Due to the nature of the material, cotton tents may absorb minimal amounts of moisture. This is a natural effect and will disappear after the first use or drying.
* During the first rainy periods, the cotton fabric swells slightly and thus becomes water-repellent.
* Slight color changes may occur with strong sunlight or prolonged use.
* After rain or high humidity, moisture may collect on the tent floor. This is a natural process and not a quality defect.
* Areas that are frequently touched may appear slightly darker – this is due to the material.
* New cotton tents may have a slight textile or manufacturing smell; this smell will dissipate after a short period of use.
* In dense vegetation or heavy needle or leaf fall, minimal traces of resin or oil may occur. These can usually be removed and do not impair function.
* Before final shipping, each tent is set up and thoroughly inspected.
* Slight traces that may arise from this quality control process are unavoidable and are not considered a defect.
* Slight traces of material may occur during indoor and outdoor use, without this being a reason for complaint.
* Please note that after outdoor use, exchanges may be excluded if there are signs of soiling or wear.
* Contamination that may occur during a normal test setup is not considered a defect and does not entitle the customer to a complaint.
Each tent is set up 3-4 times for testing, checked, and then securely packaged for shipping.

PRECAUTIONS FOR TENT SETUP AND USE

Important information on tent assembly and use

* Set up the tent on level ground – ideally with two people for easy and safe setup and takedown.
* When inflating, please ensure you first fully open the valves and pump air into the main chamber. Once the tent takes shape, fully inflate all chambers. Make sure the valves are tightly closed during this process.
* If the air channels are not completely closed, air can escape and the tent can become deformed. Therefore, check all valves carefully before inflating.
* Avoid excessive force when inflating – this can strain the material and seams.
* In rainy weather or high humidity, it is recommended to place an additional tarpaulin over the tent to keep moisture out from above.
* Keep the area around the tent free of open flames and strong heat sources. Exercise caution inside the tent as well.
* Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause color changes in the material.
* In cold weather, the air pressure inside the tent may drop. If necessary, add a little extra air before going to sleep to ensure stability.
* We recommend using an electric blanket or heating pad instead of a fan heater to safely heat the interior.

GOOD TIP TO KNOW

Useful tips for your purchase decision: Differences between polyester and cotton tents

Properties of polyester tents
Polyester tents are made from a material similar to nylon – they are very water-repellent and can be further sealed at the seams, which increases their waterproofness even more. However, the material is less breathable, so condensation can form inside due to temperature differences.
However, this can be significantly reduced by ventilating regularly or using an additional protective tarp over the tent.

Properties of cotton tents
Cotton tents are particularly breathable and offer a pleasant interior climate. Since they don't have sealed seams, their waterproofness is lower compared to polyester. However, the good air circulation significantly reduces condensation – ideal for comfortable camping.
In case of rain, we recommend using a polyester tarp over the cotton tent to increase weather protection.
If you want to increase the waterproofness of your cotton tent, there are special impregnation methods that can effectively help.
Comparison: Cotton tent vs. polyester tent
category Cotton tent polyester tent
Waterproofing Reduced water resistance due to the cotton material Very high water resistance thanks to synthetic material
seam sealing Seam sealing with tape is not possible Seams can be sealed – additional sealing
condensation Excellent breathability, therefore little condensation Less breathable, condensation can occur
sensation of warmth Breathable and pleasantly cool Less breathable, can get warmer
Protection & Additions A polyester tarp is recommended in rainy weather. Additional ventilation and tarp for optimal comfort
What does "seasoning" mean?
Cotton tents are naturally breathable. Therefore, slight condensation or moisture penetration may occur upon initial contact with rain. However, repeated wetting and complete drying causes the fabric to shrink, significantly increasing its waterproofness.
After seasoning, the tent should be completely dry before being stored.
What does condensation (condensed water) mean?
Condensation occurs when moisture inside the tent settles on the walls and forms droplets. Once condensation has accumulated, regular ventilation helps to stabilize the indoor climate.

Why does condensation occur?
* Temperature differences cause moisture to form on the tent wall.
* If moisture cannot escape through the ground, air, or closed openings, it accumulates inside the tent.
* Especially when there are strong temperature differences between the interior and outer tent, condensation forms on the inner wall (tent fabric).
* Condensation can also occur between the tent and the tarp (for example, when there is a lot of moisture in the air).
* If you suspect that water is seeping through the tent, simply test it with clean water – often it is actually condensation.

Typical examples of condensation:
* Moisture on car windows
* Fogged windows in winter
* Water droplets on cold beverage bottles
* Moisture on bathroom walls after showering

When does condensation occur most easily?
1. In environments with high humidity (proximity to bodies of water, meadows, valleys, coasts, foggy areas)
2. On days with high humidity: fog, rain, heavy morning dew
3. If the airflow from the outside is blocked and the tent is poorly ventilated.
Condensation is a natural process and not a product defect. The more waterproof a tent is, the more likely condensation is to occur.

How can condensation be reduced?
1. Ventilate the tent regularly and sufficiently.
2. Immediately vent warm, humid air to the outside – e.g., by opening windows and doors. In apartments, ventilation shafts are used for this purpose; when camping, openings and mesh areas serve this function.
3. Use an additional tarp to protect the tent from rain. Important: Position the tarp so that air can circulate between the tent and the tarp.
4. If possible, build on a slightly elevated or breathable surface and avoid strong sources of moisture.
5. Always dry the outer tent completely after rain and wipe away any condensation that may have formed.
6. Try to pitch the tent in places with good air circulation to avoid excessive moisture buildup.
7. Check and ventilate regularly in the early morning and evening, as these are the times when the greatest temperature differences occur.

A connector with double-sided zippers that allows for a simple and secure connection.
(This connector can only be used if your tent has compatible zippers. In rare cases, minimal light or moisture may penetrate through the zippers.)
• Connector 8.0
For connecting a 3.6m tent to a size 8.0 model.
• Connector 13.6 – compatible with Pavilion & Hub Shelter
For connecting a 3.6m tent to Pavilion, Hub Shelter or 13.6 models.
(Also suitable for 10.0 tents.)
Category Description
Connector 8.0 8.0 (front) — 13.6, Pavilion, Hub Shelter, 10.0 (Tent width 3.2 m / 3.6 m)
Connector 13.6 / Pavilion / Hub Shelter / 10.0 13.6, Pavilion, Hub Shelter, 10.0 — 13.6, Pavilion, Hub Shelter, 10.0 (Tent width 3.6 m)
2. Lace connector

This connector has a zipper on one side and a fabric flap on the other side, which is tightened using cords.
To connect, attach the cords to the tent and then tighten them so that the connector is secure.

(This connector can also be used with tents without a zipper. It also offers good protection against light and minimizes moisture penetration.)

TARP EXAMPLE

Various uses of the tarp

Simply place it over the tent and use it!
The specially designed tarp is perfectly tailored to the size of the tent.
It is attached to the upper curve with cords and can then be securely fixed to the ground.
Size that can also cover an air pool table
The tarp is made slightly larger than the tent itself and therefore offers enough space to reliably cover an air pool table.
The ends can be pulled together, providing even better coverage for the pool table.
Simply roll up and use
If you only want to use the roof, you can simply roll up the sides and secure them.
If you roll the tarpaulin inwards and shape it like a small hem, rainwater will run off naturally.
Use the pool table as additional protection

If you want to stay protected from the rain while camping and still enjoy the outdoors, you can use the pool table as a weather shelter. Depending on the intensity of the rain, you can easily adjust the angle of the tarp so that the water runs off optimally.
A versatile space in front of the tent
On days without rain, you can use the tarp like an open shelter and create a comfortable living area.
Attach it about 50 cm in front of the tent entrance and set up three poles at the front – this creates a spacious, sheltered vestibule.
Important instructions
※ This tarp is designed to provide additional protection in the rain.
It must not be used as an open shelter on days with precipitation.
※ Never attach the tarp directly to the tent. In strong winds or under heavy load, the tent could be damaged – this poses a safety risk.
Instead, always securely fix the tarp to the ground or to the poles provided for this purpose.

FAQ

Before using the Coody tent

Beige

Preparation and setup

  • Always pitch the tent on elevated ground, away from trees with heavy snow loads or open fires.
  • Plan the setup so that it is completed before nightfall.
  • Use a protective groundsheet to keep the tent floor clean.
  • Use additional tent pegs and guy lines in strong winds.
  • Use the included rainfly in rain, snow, or strong sunlight. An awning can be set up with additional poles (sold separately), but this will only cover part of the tent.

Operating temperature

  • Suitable for outdoor use in a temperature range of -15 °C to +40 °C.
  • PVC hardens at temperatures below freezing – the base and supports become stiffer, making folding more difficult. This is normal.
  • Use sleeping bags with the appropriate temperature rating and place additional insulating mats underneath for added comfort.

Heating and insulation

  • A roof vent for a wood-burning stove is available. Only stoves with spark guards may be used. Safe electric heaters are permitted. Open flames are not allowed.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation to prevent the build-up of carbon monoxide.
  • Use the internal partition (if available) to keep the heat in the sleeping area.
  • Keep TPU windows closed to retain heat; open them only briefly for ventilation.
  • Improve insulation by placing carpets, blankets, or mats on the floor.

Air pressure and linkage

  • Air pressure drops in freezing temperatures – check it regularly and pump up if necessary.
  • Make sure that all valves are completely and correctly closed.

Condensation and moisture

  • Condensation is normal and comparable to fogged-up windows. The higher the water resistance of the material, the more pronounced it will be.
  • Our Terylene cotton fabric significantly reduces condensation.

Measures:

  1. Leave some ventilation openings partially open.
  2. Gradually increase the indoor temperature.
  3. Use a groundsheet under the tent.
  4. Choose locations with lower humidity.
  5. Allow the tent to dry completely before packing it away.

Protection from rain and snow

  • The tent can withstand moderate rain for about 4–5 hours. The rainfly is not strictly necessary in light or occasional rain.
  • Always use the supplied rain cover during prolonged rain.
  • Remove the rain cover after rainfall to improve air circulation and prevent condensation.
  • Pre-fix or roll up the rain tarp on one side so that it is quickly ready in case of persistent rain.
  • Install the rain cover immediately in case of snowfall. Snow accumulation increases moisture exposure.
  • Regularly remove snow from the tent roof.
  • If zippers freeze, thaw carefully by hand or warm water – never force them open.
  • After winter use, allow the tent to dry completely before storing it.

Folding and storage

  • Cold temperatures make PVC and fabric stiff, making folding more difficult.
  • Fully ventilate the tent before packing it away.
  • Allow the tent to dry completely in a well-ventilated place and store it only in a dry place.

Care and maintenance

  • Do not wear boots or shoes indoors.
  • Keep sharp or pointed objects away from walls and floors.
  • Do not place the tent near chemicals or flammable substances.
  • Mold and prolonged UV exposure shorten the lifespan – keep the tent clean and protected.
  • Reduce direct sunlight; use the rain cover if necessary.

Fire protection measures

  • Use electrical appliances carefully and properly.
  • Keep the entrance clear at all times so that the emergency exit remains accessible.
  • Keep a fire extinguisher or suitable extinguishing agent nearby.
  • Keep fireworks and similar items away from children and the tent.
