Material & Quality

The robust PVC air tubes with 0.7 mm wall thickness provide a stable structure without heavy metal poles.

Preparation and Setup

Always set up the tent on elevated ground, away from trees with heavy snow load or open fire sources.

Plan the setup so that the entrance faces away from the wind direction. The entrance should always be accessible.

Make sure the tent is properly secured with guy lines and pegs – especially important in winter.

Check the air pressure of the air tubes BEFORE the temperature drops. Cold causes the pressure to decrease.

Operating Temperature

Suitable for outdoor use in a temperature range of –15 °C to +40 °C.

PVC becomes hard at temperatures below freezing – the ground cloth and air tubes may feel stiff.

This is normal and does not affect safety.

Heating and Insulation

A roof outlet for a wood stove is available. Only use stoves with spark protection. Safe electric heaters are allowed.

Never leave heating devices unattended.

Ensure sufficient ventilation – especially when using heating in the tent.

Use an insulating mat or carpet for additional warmth from below.

Air Pressure and Poles

In frosty temperatures, air pressure drops – check regularly and re-inflate as needed.

Make sure all valves are tightly closed.

Condensation and Moisture

Condensation is normal and comparable to fogged windows. The higher the waterproofing of the material, the more it occurs.

Ventilate regularly to reduce moisture buildup.

Use a dehumidifier or moisture absorber inside the tent if needed.

Wipe off condensation with a cloth to prevent mold formation.

Protection from Rain and Snow

The tent withstands moderate rain for about 4–5 hours. For light or occasional rain, the rain tarp is not necessarily required.

For prolonged or heavy rain, always use the rain tarp.

Remove snow regularly from the tent roof to avoid excessive load.

After rain or snow, dry the tent thoroughly before storing.

Folding and Storage

Cold makes PVC and fabric stiff, making folding more difficult.

Fully deflate the tent before packing.

Store the tent dry and in a ventilated place.

Care and Maintenance

Do not wear boots or shoes inside the tent.

Keep sharp or pointed objects away from walls and floor.

Do not fold or roll the tent when wet – always dry first.

Clean with mild soap and lukewarm water only – no harsh chemicals.

Fire Safety Measures

Use electrical devices carefully and properly.

Always keep the entrance clear so the emergency exit remains accessible.

Keep a fire extinguisher or fire blanket nearby when using heating devices.

Never use open flames inside the tent.
